Scott Spark 930

The 2021 "Spark 930" model from Scott is a high-quality mountain bike available at a price of 3599 EUR. It features a Spark 3 Carbon frame with IMP Technology and an HMF main frame. The frame is fitted with a BB92 bottom bracket, an Alloy SL 6011 swingarm and SW dropouts for Boost 12x148mm, and supports tyres up to 2.6 inches wide. The TBC Trunnion Box construction provides additional stability and performance.

The bike weighs a total of 13 kg and is fitted with high-quality components. The brakes are Shimano Deore M6100 disc brakes, combined at the front with a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT64 CL brake disc. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS Shadow Plus 12-speed rear derailleur and is operated via Shimano Deore SL-M6100-IR Rapidfire Plus shift levers, which are secured with an Ispec EV clamp.

The Spark 930’s fork is a FOX 34 Float Rhythm Air Grip 3 with 130 mm of travel, a 15x110 mm QR axle, a tapered steerer tube and a 44 mm offset. It offers three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE EVOL Trunnion, which also offers three modes and has a travel of 120 mm.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-MT500 with a shell width of 41x92mm. The crankset is a Shimano SLX FC-M7100-1 Hollowtech 2 with a 32T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12 with a 10–51-tooth range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X12 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser 2.0 made from 6061 alloy, with a width of 760 mm and a 9° bend. The stem is a Syncros FL2.0 made from 6061 alloy with a 6° angle, an integrated top cap and a diameter of 31.8 mm. The head tube is a Syncros Pro Drop-in with a tapered diameter ranging from 1.5" to 1 1/8".

The rims are Syncros X-25 with 32 spokes and a width of 25 mm; they are tubeless-ready. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon with a width of 2.4 inches, a 60 TPI Kevlar bead and are also tubeless-ready with EXO protection. The front hub is a Formula CL-811 with a 15x110mm axle, and the rear hub is a Formula CL-148M Boost with a 12x148mm Micro Spline axle. The spokes are made of black stainless steel with a gauge of 15G / 1.8mm.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.0 with CRMO rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.0 with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The length of the seatpost varies depending on the frame size: S has a travel of 100 mm, whilst M, L and XL have a travel of 125 mm.
