Scott Scale RC Team Issue AXS

The "Scale RC Team Issue AXS" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a highly sophisticated mountain bike characterised by its advanced technology and high-quality components. The frame is made from Scale RC Carbon featuring IMP Technology and HMF, ensuring high stability and low weight. The bike weighs just 10 kg in total and has a maximum rider weight of 128 kg.

The frame geometry is precisely engineered to ensure optimum riding dynamics. With a seat tube length of 440 mm, a top tube length of 600 mm and a head tube angle of 70 degrees, the bike offers a balanced riding position. The seat tube angle is 74 degrees, which increases pedalling efficiency. Other key dimensions include a head tube length of 100 mm, a chainstay length of 425 mm and a wheelbase of 1102 mm.

The bike is fitted with Shimano XT M8100 disc brakes, featuring a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor. This ensures reliable braking performance in all conditions. The drivetrain is the wireless electronic SRAM X01 Eagle AXS system with 12 speeds, controlled via the SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller. This combination enables precise and fast gear changes.

The RockShox SID SL Select RL Air fork offers 100 mm of travel and is fitted with a lockout and rebound adjustment. The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB PF 92 MTB and the crankset consists of a SRAM GX Eagle DUB with 32 teeth. The cassette is a SRAM XG1275 with a range of 10–52 teeth, and the drivetrain is a SRAM CN GX Eagle.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser 1.0 Carbon, 740 mm wide with a 9-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Pro lock-on grips. The stem, also by Syncros, has an angle of -8 degrees and a length of 70 mm. The headset is a Syncros Pro Drop-in with a tapered diameter of 1.5"-1 1/8".

The tyres are Schwalbe Racing Ray at the front and Schwalbe Racing Ralph at the rear, both in size 29x2.25" EVO with Addix Speed Grip compound. The wheelset consists of DT Swiss XR1850CL rims, which are tubeless-ready and feature a 15x110 mm axle at the front and a 12x148 mm axle at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 1.5 with titanium rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan 1.5 with a 10 mm offset and dimensions of 31.6x400 mm.

The bike is suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm tall and, at a price of 4499 EUR, offers excellent value for money for ambitious mountain bikers.
