Scott Scale RC 600 Pro

The "Scale RC 600 Pro" model from the "Scott" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality youth mountain bike that stands out for its carefully selected components and robust materials. The bike’s frame is made from JR26 Susp Disc light Alloy 6061 with a curved top tube and a semi-integrated head tube. The maximum rider weight is 70 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg, making it particularly manoeuvrable and easy to handle.

The Scale RC 600 Pro’s braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT500 brakes and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers, complemented by a front Shimano SM-RT66 brake disc with a diameter of 160 mm. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 11-speed system, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M5100-R shifter. This combination enables precise and reliable gear changes in any situation.

The suspension fork is a Manitou Markhor 26 with 80 mm of travel and ‘KTK’ Kids Tune, specially tuned for children. The pedals are MARWI SP-700 with reflectors, and the bottom bracket is a Feimin BB68 with a cartridge and square taper. The crankset is a Prowheel BOOM-32P with a length of 152 mm and a 32T aluminium chainring, which is protected by a PVC cover. The cassette is from SunRace and offers 11 speeds with a range of 11–42. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X11EL chain.

The handlebars are Premetec 6019F flat bars with a diameter of 25.4 mm and a width of 580 mm, fitted with Syncros Youth 100 grips. The stem is a LEADTEC LCS-7091, 50 mm long and also with a diameter of 25.4 mm. The headset is a Feimin FP-H809, fitted with sealed bearings.

The rims are Alexrims MD19 Disc, and the tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evolution with ADDIX Speed Compound, a density of 67 EPI and dimensions of 26x2.35", foldable. The front hub is a Formula DC-140-F with a quick-release mechanism, and the rear hub is a Formula DC-38-R, also with a quick-release mechanism. The spokes are black and have a gauge of 15g UCP.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro, mounted on an Alloy 2014 seatpost with no offset; the dimensions are 27.2x300 mm. The bike has a gross weight of 18 g. The model is available in ‘one size’ and is priced at 1299 EUR.
