Scott Scale RC 600

The "Scale RC 600" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a high-quality bicycle that stands out for its technical specifications and the careful selection of its components. The price of this model is 999 EUR. The frame is made from JR26 Rigid Disc Light, constructed from a robust 6061 aluminium alloy. It features a curved top tube (Bended TT), a semi-integrated head tube (Semi int. HT), SCOTT dropouts and IS standards. The maximum load capacity is 70 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg.

The Scale RC 600’s braking system is fitted with Shimano BR-MT500 brakes and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers, complemented by Shimano SM-RT66 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm at both the front and rear. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 11-speed rear derailleur, operated by the Shimano Deore SL-M5100-R shifter. The rigid fork is made from AL-6061 and has a diameter of 1 1/8" in accordance with the IS standard. The pedals are MARWI SP-700 with reflectors.

The bottom bracket is a Feimin BB68 cartridge with a square taper. The crankset is a Prowheel BOOM-32P with a length of 152 mm and a 32T aluminium chainring, fitted with a PVC chain guard. The cassette is from SunRace and is a CSMX8 model with 11 speeds and a range of 11–42 teeth. The drivetrain is powered by a KMC X11EL chain.

The handlebars are Premetec 6019F flat bars with a diameter of 25.4 mm and a width of 580 mm. The grips are Syncros Youth 100 Grip and the stem is a LEADTEC LCS-7091 with a length of 50 mm and a diameter of 25.4 mm. The headset consists of Feimin FP-H809 with sealed bearings.

The rims are Alexrims MD19 for disc brakes. The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evolution with ADDIX Speed compound, a density of 67 EPI and a size of 26x2.35 inches, foldable. The front hub is a Formula DC-140-F with a quick-release (QR) mechanism, and the rear hub is a Formula DC-38-R, also with a quick-release mechanism. The spokes are black UCP spokes with a thickness of 15g.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro model, mounted on an Alloy 2014 seatpost with no offset; the dimensions are 27.2 x 300 mm. The gross weight is just 18 g. The bike is available in a ‘one size’ version.
