Scott Scale RC 400 Pro

The 2022 "Scale RC 400 Pro" model from Scott offers a balanced combination of lightness, stability and advanced features. The frame is made from JR24 susp Disc light, a high-quality aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) with a curved top tube and semi-integrated head tube, resulting in a robust yet lightweight design. The maximum load capacity is 70 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg, making it particularly easy to handle and manoeuvre.

The braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT500 brakes and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers, which ensure reliable and precise braking. The front brake disc is a Shimano SM-RT66 model with a diameter of 160 mm. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 11-speed system, controlled via Shimano Deore SL-M5100-R shift levers, which enables smooth and efficient gear changes.

The bike is fitted with an SR Suntour XCR Air fork, which offers 63 mm of travel to better absorb bumps on rough terrain. The pedals are MARWI SP-700 models with reflectors for added safety. The handlebars are Premetec 6019F flat bars, 580 mm wide with a 25.4 mm clamp, fitted with Syncros Youth 100 grips for optimum grip. The stem is a LEADTEC LCS-7091 model with a length of 50 mm.

The headset is a Feimin FP-H809 with sealed bearings. The rims are Alexrims MD19 Disc models, fitted with Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evolution tyres in size 24x2.25" and ADDIX Speed rubber compound. The hubs are by Formula (DC-140-F at the front and DC-38-R at the rear) and the spokes are 15g UCP in black.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro model, mounted on an aluminium seatpost (Alloy 2014) with zero offset and dimensions of 27.2x300 mm. The bike is available in a ‘one size’ and is priced at 1099 EUR.
