Scott Scale RC 200

The 2021 Scott Scale RC 200 is a high-quality mountain bike designed specifically for young riders. Priced at 799 EUR, this model offers a wide range of technical features that appeal to both beginners and more experienced riders. The bike’s frame is made from JR20 Rigid Disc light Alloy 6061, making it lightweight and robust. The curved top tube design and semi-integrated head tube contribute to the frame’s stability and durability. The bike’s total weight is just 7 kg, making it particularly manoeuvrable and easy to handle.

For braking performance, the Scott Scale RC 200 is fitted with Shimano BR-MT500 brakes and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers. The front brake disc, a Shimano SM-RT66 with a diameter of 160 mm, ensures reliable braking power in a variety of conditions. The gear system is based on the Shimano Deore series, comprising an RD-M5120 rear derailleur and an SL-M4100-R shifter, both with 10 speeds. The handlebars are Premetec 6003F flat bars, 560 mm wide with a 25.4 mm clamp, complemented by Syncros Youth Pro 100 grips. The stem is a LEADTEC LCS-7091, 50 mm long and also with a 25.4 mm clamp. The headset consists of a Feimin FP-H809 with sealed bearings.

The rims on the Scale RC 200 are Alexrims MD19s, which are specifically designed for disc brakes. The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evolution ADDIX Speed, sized 20x2.25", with a foldable construction for low weight and high performance. The hubs are by Formula: the DC-140-F model at the front and the DC-38-R model at the rear, both fitted with quick-release skewers. The spokes are made from black 15G UCP.

The saddle is a Syncros Future Pro, mounted on an Alloy 2014 seatpost with no offset and dimensions of 27.2x250 mm. Overall, the Scott Scale RC 200 offers a well-thought-out combination of high-quality components and solid build quality, ensuring an excellent riding experience.
