Scott Scale RC 160

The "Scale RC 160" model from Scott, released in 2022, stands out for its high-quality build and well-thought-out features. Priced at 499 EUR, this bike offers excellent value for money for young riders.

The bike’s frame is made from JR16 V-Brake, 6061 alloy, featuring a curved top tube and a semi-integrated head tube. The rigid fork is also made of aluminium (AL-6061) and is designed for V-brakes. The maximum load capacity is 50 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 5 kg, making it particularly light and manoeuvrable.

The Scott Scale RC 160 is fitted with Tektro J-310 V-brakes, operated via Tektro Kids brake levers. This combination ensures reliable braking performance suitable for children. The pedals are MARWI SP-201s with reflectors, which provide additional safety.

The hubs are made of aluminium with sealed bearings and each has 16 spoke holes. The spokes themselves are 15g UCP. The saddle is a Syncros Scale JR16, and the seatpost is made of aluminium, measuring 26.8x200mm.
