Scott Patron eRIDE 920

The 2022 "Patron eRIDE 920" model from Scott is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 6299 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features and a robust build.

The bike’s frame is made from an aluminium alloy (Alloy Frame & Link) and utilises Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) technology. It is designed for 29x2.6 tyres and features Boost 148x12mm UDH as well as 160mm of suspension travel. The frame is also fitted with an integrated, removable battery and features a 1.8" head tube, a central kickstand mount and integrated cable routing. The maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

The brakes are Shimano BR-MT520 4-piston calipers, combined with a Shimano SM-RT64 CL brake disc at the front and a Shimano RT-EM600 CL brake disc at the rear, both with a diameter of 203 mm. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT 12-speed system, controlled by a Shimano SL-M6100 shifter.

The Patron eRIDE 920’s fork is a RockShox Domain Air with 160 mm of travel. It features a 15x110 mm QR axle, a tapered steerer tube and various adjustment options such as rebound adjustment and lockout. The rear shock is a FOX Float EVOL eRIDE Trunnion with three modes (Lockout, Trail, Descend), also offering 160 mm of travel.

For lighting, the bike comes pre-fitted with a Bosch Light Cable for the front and rear lights. The crankset is an FSA CK-745, 165 mm long, with a 34T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano CS-M6100 with a 10–51-tooth range, and the chain is a Shimano CN-M6100.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Hixon 2.0 with a width of 780 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 9 degrees. The grips are Syncros Pro lock-on grips. The stem is a Syncros AM2.0 made from 6061 aluminium, with a length of 50 mm and an angle of 4 degrees. The headset is by Acros and has a size of 1.8".

The wheels consist of Syncros MD30 rims, which are tubeless-ready, and Maxxis Dissector tyres in size 29x2.6". The front hub is a Formula CL-811 and the rear hub is a Formula ECT-1481, both of which are Boost-compatible. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5, available in different lengths depending on frame size (125 mm for size S, 150 mm for M & L, 170 mm for XL). Mudguards are also fitted, including a Rock Shox Fork Fender and a Syncros eRIDE integrated light mudguard.

At the heart of the drivetrain is the Bosch Performance CX motor with a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h (EU) or 20 mph (international). The battery has a capacity of 750 Wh and is controlled via a Bosch LED Remote & Kiox 300 display. The charger has a current rating of 4A.
