Scott Metrix 20

The "Metrix 20" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a versatile, high-quality bike designed for riders between 165 cm and 175 cm tall. Priced at 1399 EUR, this bike offers impressive features and robust construction.

The frame is made from Metrix Disc / 6061 D.Butted Alloy and features an endurance geometry, which enables a comfortable and efficient riding position. The frame is also fitted with a replaceable derailleur hanger and is pre-fitted for Syncros mudguard kits. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg.

The Metrix 20’s braking system consists of Shimano BR-UR300 hydraulic disc brakes, controlled by Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers. The front and rear brake discs are Shimano SM-RT10 CL with a diameter of 160 mm, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The gear system uses the Shimano Tiagra RD-4700-GS system with 20 speeds. The shift levers are Shimano SL-4700, whilst the front derailleur is a Shimano Tiagra FD-4700. The crankset is a Shimano Tiagra Compact FC-4700 Hyperdrive with a gear ratio of 50x34 teeth, and the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500, 10-speed with 11–32 teeth. The Metrix 20’s fork is a Metrix HMF Disc with an eccentric carbon steerer tube (1 1/4"–1 1/2"), which contributes to improved stiffness and steering precision. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500-PB.

The handlebars are Syncros Flat-Bar FL2.0 with a width of 620 mm, combined with a Syncros RR2.5 stem (93 mm long and 31.8 mm in diameter). The headset is an Acros AIF-1113.

The bike features Syncros Race 24 Disc rims, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, as well as Schwalbe G-ONE Allround tyres in size 700x40C. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc with 28 spoke holes, ensuring stable and long-lasting performance.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost (27.2 mm diameter, 300 mm length).
