Scott Metrix 20

The "Metrix 20" model from Scott, released in 2021, offers a balanced blend of performance and comfort at a price of 1,099 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from Metrix Disc / 6061 D.Butted Alloy with Endurance geometry and an integrated head tube, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride. The bike’s total weight is 10 kg.

The braking system is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-UR300) which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and 160 mm brake discs (front and rear: Shimano SM-RT10 CL) ensure reliable and precise braking performance. The gear system comprises a Shimano Tiagra RD-4700-GS rear derailleur with 20 speeds, operated by Shimano SL-4700 shift levers and complemented by a Shimano Tiagra FD-4700 front derailleur.

The Metrix 20’s fork is made of carbon (Metrix Disc Carbon) with a carbon steerer tube (1 1/8"–1 1/4") and aluminium dropouts, which reduces the overall weight whilst increasing stiffness. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500-PB, whilst the crankset is a Shimano Tiagra Compact FC-4700 Hyperdrive with 50x34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with 10 speeds and a gear range of 11–32 teeth, driven by a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Flat-Bar FL2.0 with a width of 580 mm, combined with a JD ST123A Alloy stem (1 1/8" / four-bolt 31.8 mm). The headset consists of integrated steel cups. The rims are Syncros Race 24 Disc, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, fitted with Schwalbe G-ONE tyres in size 700x35C. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc models, each with 28 spokes (SHA-DAR Black 2 mm).

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost measuring 27.2/300 mm. This specification makes the Scott Metrix 20 a versatile and reliable bike, suitable for both sporty rides and longer tours.
