Scott Lumen eRIDE 900

The "Lumen eRIDE 900" model from Scott, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 9,999 EUR, this bike offers a combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The frame of the Lumen eRIDE 900 is made from Lumen eRIDE Carbon HMX and incorporates Suspension Technology with a Flex Pivot. The frame also features an adjustable head tube angle and the Syncros Cable Integration System. The bike is fitted with a TQ HPR50 motor, which delivers a maximum torque of 50 Nm, as well as a 360 Wh battery that communicates via Bluetooth and ANT+ and can be controlled via a dedicated smartphone app.

The maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 16 kg. It is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. The brakes are fitted with Shimano XT / BR-M8120 4-piston calipers at the front and rear, acting on Shimano RT-MT800 CL 180 mm and Shimano RT-EM810 CL 180 mm brake discs respectively.

The drivetrain consists of a wireless SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed system with an SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller as the shifter. The fork is a FOX 34 Float Performance Elite Air FIT4 with 130 mm of travel and various adjustment modes. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE 5T EVOL Trunnion, also offering 130 mm of travel and three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend.

The drivetrain is complemented by an FSA carbon crankset with a length of 175 mm and a 34-tooth chainring. The cassette is an SRAM XG1275 with a range of 10–52 teeth. The bike uses an SRAM CN NX Eagle drivetrain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL DC Carbon, 760 mm wide with an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The headset is a Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing HS System, which allows the head tube angle to be adjusted by ±0.6 degrees.

The wheels are Syncros Silverton 1.5-30 CL, tubeless-ready with a width of 30 mm. The tyres are Schwalbe Wicked Will 29x2.4" EVO, fitted with Addix Speed Soft on the front and Addix Speed Grip on the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium struts, mounted on a FOX Transfer Dropper Post seatpost, which offers a travel of up to 175 mm depending on frame size.

Additional features include Syncros Fork Fender mudguards and a TQ charger with a voltage rating of 100–240 V, 4 A. The bike’s geometry includes, amongst other things, a reach of 416 mm, a stack of 615 mm and a head tube angle of 66 degrees.
