Scott Genius 950

The 2022 Scott Genius 950 is a versatile mountain bike that stands out thanks to its well-thought-out design and high-quality components. The frame is made from Genius Alloy SL 6011, which has been specially adapted and features VLK Virtual 4 Link kinematics. This design ensures compatibility with tyres in sizes 27.5" (2.6 & 2.8) and 29" (2.4 & 2.6), and also offers Geo-BB adjustment. The trunnion box construction and the Boost 12x148mm standard ensure additional stability and stiffness.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 15 kg. The model is suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm in height. The braking system consists of Shimano MT501 disc brakes, with the front brake disc measuring 203 mm in diameter and the rear 180 mm.

The tyres are Maxxis Dissector 2.6" at the front and Maxxis Rekon 2.6" at the rear, both tubeless-ready and fitted with EXO protection. The hubs are by Formula: the front is a CL-811 with a 15x110mm axle, and the rear is a CL-148S with a 12x148mm axle.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5 Regular, mounted on a Syncros Duncan dropper post with variable length depending on frame size (100 mm for S, 130 mm for M and 150 mm for L & XL).
