Scott Genius 950

The "Genius 950" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a versatile mountain bike which, at a price of 2,999 EUR, represents an attractive option for ambitious riders. The bike’s frame is made from Genius Alloy SL 6011, a specially shaped aluminium known for its strength and lightness. The VLK Virtual 4 Link kinematic system ensures efficient suspension, whilst the design is compatible with both 27.5" and 29" tyres, allowing for flexible adaptation to different types of terrain. The wheelsets consist of Syncros X-30S rims with 32 spokes, which are tubeless-ready and 30 mm wide. The tyres are Maxxis Dissector at the front and Maxxis Rekon at the rear, both 2.6" in size and tubeless-ready.

Other features include Shimano hubs (HB-MT410-B at the front and FH-MT410-B at the rear), black stainless steel spokes, a Syncros Tofino 2.5 Regular saddle and a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (100 mm for size S, 125 mm for size M and 150 mm for sizes L & XL).
