Scott Genius 910 AXS

The "Genius 910 AXS" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a high-quality mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 6,499 EUR, it offers a wide range of advanced technical features and components designed for both performance and versatility.

The Genius 910 AXS frame is constructed from Genius Carbon with IMP Technology and an HMF main frame. The frame is compatible with 27.5" (2.6 & 2.8) and 29" (2.4 & 2.6) tyres and features a Geo-BB adjustment as well as SW dropouts for Boost 12x148mm. The TBC Trunnion Box construction provides additional stability and durability. The bike’s total weight is 13 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes, combined with a 203 mm front rotor and a 180 mm rear rotor (Shimano SM-RT66 / 6-bolt). Gear changes are enabled by the SRAM X01 Eagle AXS wireless electronic shifting system with 12 speeds, controlled by the SRAM Eagle AXS Controller.

The suspension on the Genius 910 AXS is provided by a FOX 36 Float Performance Elite Air FIT4 fork with 150 mm of travel and a FOX NUDE TR EVOL trunnion shock, also offering 150 mm of travel. Both components offer several modes to adapt to different riding conditions.

The bottom bracket is an SRAM DUB PF integrated unit with a shell size of 41x92mm. The crankset consists of an SRAM GX Eagle DUB Boost with a 32T chainring. The cassette is an SRAM XG1275 with a 10–52T range, and power is transmitted via an SRAM CN GX Eagle chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon iC SL Carbon with a rise of 12 mm, a rake of 9° and a width of 780 mm, fitted with Syncros Pro lock-on grips. The headset is a Syncros Pro Press Fit E2, which is tapered and has dimensions of OD 50/62 mm and ID 44/56 mm.

The tyres are a Maxxis Dissector (2.6") at the front and a Maxxis Rekon (2.6") at the rear, both tubeless-ready and featuring EXO 3C maxx Terra technology. The wheelset consists of Syncros Revelstoke 1.5 rims, which comply with Boost standards and are tubeless-ready.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium struts, and the seatpost is a FOX Transfer Performance Elite dropper post, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (S: 125 mm, M & L: 150 mm, XL: 175 mm). The bike is also fitted with a Fox 36 mudguard.
