Scott Gambler 930

The 2021 Scott Gambler 930 is a high-quality downhill bike designed for challenging trails and descents. The frame is made from Gambler Alloy 6061, a hydroformed and custom-machined aluminium known for its robustness and durability. Weighing 16 kg, the bike provides a solid and stable platform for extreme riding manoeuvres.

The Gambler 930’s braking system features Shimano BR-MT520 4-piston brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano SM-RT66L 203mm front brake disc, ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain consists of an SRAM X5 with a medium-cage derailleur and offers a total of 8 gears, operated via the SRAM X4 Trigger Shifter.

Front suspension is provided by the RockShox Boxxer Select fork with DebonAir technology, Charger RC damping and 200 mm of travel. At the rear, the bike is fitted with an X-Fusion Vector R coil shock, which also offers 200 mm of travel and can be individually tuned. The spring rates vary depending on frame size: S: 400, M: 450, L & XL: 500.

The pedals are Wellgo B155U SCT flats with replaceable pins, whilst the bottom bracket is a Race Face BB107. The crankset consists of a Race Face Chester with a 34T aluminium chainring and a crank arm length of 165 mm. The cassette is an SRAM PG-830 with an 11–28-tooth range, and the drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z-8.3 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 1.5 DH, 800 mm wide with a 15 mm rise, complemented by Syncros Pro DH Dual Lock-On grips. The stem is a Syncros DH1.5 Direct Mount with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 50 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated Syncros DH with dimensions of ID 49.6 mm / OD 56 mm.

The rims are Syncros MD30 Disc 29" with 32 spokes and tubeless-ready for better performance and reduced weight. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5" with a 2x60 TPI Kevlar carcass, which ensures excellent grip and durability. The hubs are by Formula: the DHL-92 Boost model at the front with a 110x20 mm thru-axle, and the DHL-157 model at the rear with a 157x12 mm thru-axle and sealed bearings.

The saddle is a Syncros Kaslo 2.0 with CrMo rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros DH2.0 made from 6061 alloy with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The Scott Gambler 930 is available for €3,799 and offers a comprehensive spec for ambitious downhill riders.
