Scott Gambler 910

The "Gambler 910" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed specifically for downhill riding. Priced at 5,999 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features and high-quality components that will appeal to both professionals and ambitious amateur riders.

The Gambler 910’s frame is made from Gambler Carbon featuring IMP Technology and HMX material, ensuring high stability and low weight. The frame construction includes a BB107 / alloy swingarm and VLK Virtual 4 Link kinematics. The bike is compatible with both 27.5" (2.6) and 29" (2.5) tyres and features Geo-BB adjustment, SW DH 12x157mm dropouts and a TBC Trunnion Box construction. The bike’s total weight is 16 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes, fitted with a Shimano SM-RT76 front rotor measuring 203 mm in diameter. The drivetrain consists of a 7-speed SRAM GX DH short-cage derailleur, controlled by an SRAM GX DH trigger shifter.

The suspension on the Gambler 910 is of the highest standard. The front fork is a FOX 40 Performance Air with GRIP technology, low compression and rebound adjustments, as well as a 52 mm offset and a 20 mm Boost thru-axle. The fork offers 203 mm of travel. The rear shock is a FOX DH X2 Performance Elite, which is also individually tuned and features low compression and rebound adjustments. The shock has 200 mm of travel.

The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB PF MTB107 with a shell size of 107x41mm. The crankset consists of a SRAM Descendant DH DUB with a 34T aluminium chainring and a length of 165mm. The cassette is an SRAM CS PG-720 DH with a 11–25-tooth range, and the drivetrain is completed by a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 1.5 DH, 800 mm wide, with a 15 mm rise and an 8° bend. The grips are Syncros Pro DH Dual Lock-On Grips. The stem is a Syncros DH1.5 Direct Mount with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 50 mm. The headset is a Syncros DH Adjustable, semi-integrated, with an adjustment range of ±1°.

The rims are Syncros MD30 Disc Tubeless Ready, measuring 29" with 32 spoke holes. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5", featuring a 2x60 TPI Kevlar carcass, DH specification, Tubeless Ready and 3C Maxx Grip compound. The front hub is a Formula DHL-92 Boost hub with a 110x20mm thru-axle, and the rear hub is a Formula DHL-157 hub with a 157x12mm thru-axle and sealed bearings. The spokes are DT Swiss Champion in black.

The saddle is a Syncros Kaslo 1.5 with titanium rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros DH2.0 made from aluminium (6061) with a diameter of 31.6mm. The bike is also fitted with a Fox 40 mudguard.
