Scott Aspect eRIDE 940

The "Aspect eRIDE 940" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a versatile e-mountain bike designed for riders between 185 cm and 200 cm tall. The price for this model is 2699 EUR.

The frame of the Aspect eRIDE 940 is made from an aluminium alloy and features a tapered head tube (Tapered Headtube E2), custom-made tubing and internal cable routing. The frame is also equipped with Bosch Gen3 technology and features an integrated, removable battery. The Boost 148x12mm rear axle provides additional stability. A kickstand can be easily fitted, and the bike is ready for a Range Booster.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg. Safe braking is ensured by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm brake discs at the front (Shimano SM-RT30 CL) and rear (Shimano RT-EM300 CL). The gear system consists of a Shimano RD-M3100 9-speed derailleur and a Shimano SL-M2000 shifter.

The SR Suntour XCM34 coil suspension fork, with 120 mm of travel, a 15x110 mm QR axle and a tapered steerer tube, offers additional comfort and control. The fork can be locked out via a remote control.

The bike is fitted with a Bosch Light Cable for front and rear lights. The FSA CK-200 crankset has a length of 165 mm, whilst the Shimano CS-HG200-9 ACERA cassette has a 11–36 tooth range. Power is transmitted via a KMC e9S chain.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0, with a width of 720 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 9 degrees. The grips are Syncros Comfort lock-on grips, and the stem is a Syncros 3.0 with a 7-degree angle. The headset is also by Syncros and is semi-integrated.

The rims are Syncros X18 with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm. The tyres are Kenda Booster 29x2.6" with a 30 TPI casing. The hubs are a Shimano HB-MT400-B CL at the front and a Shimano FH-MT400-B CL at the rear, both in Boost format. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros ER2.5, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. At the heart of the drivetrain is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, which is limited to 25 km/h in the EU. The battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is controlled via a Bosch Purion display. A 2A charger is included in the scope of delivery.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 450 mm, a stack of 663 mm, a seat tube length of 520 mm and a top tube length of 640 mm. The head tube angle is 68 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, the head tube length is 140 mm and the chainstay length is 480 mm. Further dimensions include a bottom bracket drop of 57 mm, a fork offset of 42 mm, a top tube height of 853 mm, a fork installation height of 530 mm, a crank length of 165 mm, a wheelbase of 1222 mm and a bottom bracket height of 320 mm.
