The “Aspect 970” model from the “Scott” brand, released in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike that stands out for its solid spec and good value for money. The price for this model is 629 EUR.

The Aspect 970’s frame is part of the Aspect 900–700 series and is made from robust 6061 alloy custom tubing. It features a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 14 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro SCM-02 mechanical disc brakes, fitted with 160 mm brake discs at the front and rear. The rims are Syncros X-20 Disc with 32 spokes; the Kenda Booster tyres are 2.4" wide and have a TPI of 30. The hubs are from Formula: a DC-19 FQR Disc at the front and a DC-27A 7s RQR Disc at the rear, combined with black, rust-proof 14 G spokes.

The saddle is a Syncros 3.0 model, mounted on an HL SP C207 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm.
