Scott Aspect 950

The "Aspect 950" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by a balanced combination of performance and comfort. The bike’s frame is part of the Aspect 900-700 series and is made from 6061 alloy custom tubing. This ensures a robust and durable construction. The frame features a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 14 kg.

The Aspect 950 is suitable for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm in height. The Tektro HDM275 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with 160 mm brake discs at the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The Shimano Altus RD-M2000 derailleur offers 18 gears, controlled via Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers with 2-way release and gear indicator. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M2020-TS with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The Suntour XCT30-HLO fork, featuring a hydraulic lockout and 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-MT2102 with a 2-piece design and chainrings in sizes 36X22. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-9 with an 11–36T range, and power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are a Syncros 3.0 model with a width of 720 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 9 degrees. The grips are Syncros Pro Grip, whilst the stem is also a Syncros 3.0 model with a length of 50 mm and an angle of 7 degrees. The headset is a Syncros OE Press Fit with dimensions of 1 1/8", OD 50 mm and ID 44 mm.

The rims are Syncros X-20 Disc with 32 spokes, made from stainless steel and finished in black. The tyres are Kenda Booster, 2.4" wide with a TPI of 30. The hubs are from Formula: a DC-19 FQR Disc at the front and a DC-25 8s RQR Disc at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros 3.0 model, mounted on a seatpost of the same type with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike has a gross weight of 19 g.
