Scott Addict RC 30

The "Addict RC 30" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art road bike that stands out for its advanced technology and high-quality components. Priced at 4599 EUR, this bike offers excellent value for money for ambitious cyclists.

The Addict RC 30’s frame is made from Addict RC Disc HMX material and features road race geometry. The frame is fitted with a replaceable derailleur hanger and internal cable routing. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg, resulting in an impressively lightweight design.

The bike’s components are designed for maximum performance. The braking system comprises the SRAM RIVAL eTap AXS HRD Shift-Brake System with flat-mount mounts and 160 mm SRAM Paceline brake discs at the front and rear. The drivetrain features the SRAM RIVAL eTap AXS 24-speed electronic shifting system, which enables precise and reliable gear changes. The shift levers are also part of the SRAM RIVAL eTap AXS HRD system.

The Addict RC 30’s fork is made from Addict RC HMX Flatmount Disc material and features an eccentric carbon steerer tube with dimensions of 1 1/4"–1 1/2". The bottom bracket is an SRAM DUB PF ROAD 86.5, whilst the crankset consists of an SRAM RIVAL crankset with 48/35 teeth. The cassette is a SRAM RIVAL XG1250 with a 10–30-tooth range.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact, combined with a Syncros RR 1.5 stem, which is 110 mm long. The headset is an integrated Syncros Addict RC system. The tyres are Schwalbe ONE Race-Guard Fold in size 700x28C, fitted to a Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheelset with 28 spokes at the front and rear respectively.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.0, fitted to a Syncros Duncan 1.0 Aero seatpost. Further technical specifications include a seat tube length of 560 mm, a top tube length of 565 mm, a head tube angle of 73 degrees, a seat tube angle also of 73 degrees, a head tube length of 155 mm, a chainstay length of 410 mm and a bottom bracket drop of 70 mm. The fork offset is 45 mm, the standover height is 798 mm, the fork installation height is 379 mm and the wheelbase is 1000 mm in total. The bottom bracket height is 275 mm.

The Addict RC 30 is suitable for riders between 175 cm and 185 cm tall and offers an outstanding riding experience thanks to its sophisticated geometry and high-quality components.
