KTM ULTRA 1964 COMP

The "ULTRA 1964 COMP" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a high-quality mountain bike characterised by its carefully selected components and robust construction. The bike’s frame is made from Ultra 29" AL6061 aluminium, which ensures a good balance between stability and lightness.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for the Shimano MT201 2-piston system, which offers reliable braking power and control. The gear system consists of the Shimano Deore XT M8000-11 GS shadow+, which is renowned for precise and fast gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano SLX M7000-11 shifter with display and the Shimano SLX M72-H sideswing front derailleur, which ensure smooth gear-changing performance.

The RockShox 30 Silver TK 29" fork, with 100mm of travel and remote lockout, ensures that the bike remains comfortable to ride even on rough terrain. The VP-195E aluminium MTB pedals provide a secure grip and contribute to the bike’s overall stability.

The crankset consists of the Shimano MT600 with a 36-26-tooth configuration, whilst the drivetrain is supported by the Shimano HG601-11 chain. The handlebars, a 720mm-wide KTM Comp flat model, and the KTM Comp Lock grips provide ergonomic and comfortable control.

The stem, also from KTM Comp, has a 7° angle and helps ensure an optimal riding position. The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Rapid Rob K-Guard tyres (57-622) at both the front and rear, ensuring good grip and durability. The wheelset consists of KTM Line rims combined with Shimano Deore M6000 hubs and Ryde Rival23 rims, connected by black DT Champion 2.0 spokes.

Riding comfort is ensured by the KTM Line MTB saddle, which is mounted on a KTM Comp seatpost measuring 27.2/400.
