KTM SCARP 294

The 2020 KTM SCARP 294 is a versatile mountain bike that stands out for its high-quality components and solid build quality. The frame is made from Scarp 29" Alloy 6061, which features triple-butted tubing, and offers 90 mm of travel. This provides a balanced blend of stability and flexibility that performs well on both challenging trails and longer rides.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT201 2-piston braking system, which delivers reliable and consistent stopping power. The gear system and drivetrain are from the SRAM SX Eagle series. With a 12-speed system and a SRAM SX Eagle trigger shifter, the bike enables precise and rapid gear changes. The SRAM SX Eagle DUB crankset with a 34-tooth chainring completes the drivetrain.

The RockShox Recon RL 29" fork, with 100 mm of travel and remote lockout, ensures excellent damping and control, whilst the 720 mm-wide KTM Comp flat handlebars and KTM Comp Lock grips ensure comfortable and secure handling. The stem, also from KTM Comp, has a 7° angle, which contributes to an ergonomic riding position.

The bike is fitted with high-quality Schwalbe tyres: a Racing Ray Performance TLR 57-622 at the front and a Racing Ralph Performance TLR 57-622 at the rear. These tyres offer excellent grip and durability on a wide variety of surfaces. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano MT400B CL hubs with 32 spokes and DT Swiss 533D rims, which are renowned for their robustness and reliability.
