Kreidler Vitality Eco Compact 2.0

The "Vitality Eco Compact 2.0" model from Kreidler from 2024 presents itself as a compact and versatile e-bike designed for urban use. With a price tag of EUR 3999, it offers solid equipment and high-quality components. The frame is made of 6061 aluminium and fully integrates the Bosch mid-motor, which ensures a tidy design and a stable centre of gravity. The permissible total weight is 140 kg, while the bike itself weighs 23 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano BR-MT200 brake system with 180 mm discs at the front and 160 mm at the rear, controlled via Shimano Altus 3-finger brake levers. Shifting is via a Shimano Nexus 5-speed freewheel hub, which is operated with a twist grip. The drive is provided by a Gates CDX drive belt, which works in combination with a Gates CDX pulley with 32 teeth and a Miranda aluminium crankset with 55 teeth.

The fork is a Kreidler 20" aluminium fork with a suspension travel of 80 mm, which ensures comfort on uneven roads. The lighting consists of a Herrmans MR4 front light with 40 LUX and parking light and a Trelock LS 654 rear light with brake light function and parking light. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Super Moto-X in size 62-406, which provide good traction and stability.

The bike is equipped with a Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser handlebar, which is complemented by the by.schulz Speedlifter T150 stem with adjustable range. Comfortable Herrmans grips, a Selle Royal Rio saddle with carrying handle and a Humpert Ergotec Atar seat post round off the ergonomic design. The folding Marwi SP-153 pedals and the Ursus Big Foot kickstand provide additional comfort and functionality.

The pannier rack is the Kreidler Basic Tour 2.0, which is equipped with a strutless spring flap and is compatible with the Racktime Snap-It 2.0 system and the Kreidler front pannier rack. The Bosch Performance Line motor delivers an output of 250 watts, while the fully integrated lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 625 Wh ensures sufficient range. The Purion 200 display offers simple operation and an overview of the most important riding data.
