A sporty riding position, powerful Bosch CX drive and 29-inch wheels with easy-rolling tyres provide the necessary conditions for rapid progress. The frame shape with thin tube cross-sections looks classically discreet. The drawback: Only two sizes probably severely restrict the customer base. The bike looks solid and well-made, but there is still room for improvement in some of the equipment details: It lacks a quick release to lower the saddle before descents. A 180 mm brake disc at the rear and a cassette with a slightly smaller gear would suit the bike well in the mountains.
ConclusionTaut, sporty, fast. The Kreidler is a bike for making the distance. The tidy look is pleasing.
