Kreidler Vitality Eco 8

The "Vitality Eco 8" model from Kreidler, launched in 2020, is an e-bike that stands out for its high-quality features and modern technology. The frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a sturdy yet lightweight structure. Weighing in at 27 kg, the bike is robust and stable, making it ideal for everyday use in the city or for longer rides.

The Vitality Eco 8’s braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm, which, together with the Shimano Altus aluminium brake levers, ensure reliable and safe deceleration. The gear lever is a SHIMANO Nexus, renowned for simple and precise gear selection. The 28-inch aluminium Suntour NEX suspension fork ensures a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing bumps in the road.

For lighting, a Herrmans MR Go front light with 30 LUX and a parking light function is fitted, whilst a Herrmans H-Trace rear light, also with a parking light function, ensures safety at the rear. The pedals are made of aluminium and are suitable for both city and trekking use. The Lasco crankset, with a length of 170 mm, and the 38-tooth chainring complete the drivetrain, which is supported by a KMC Z1 chain.

The handlebars are Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser aluminium bars, 635 mm wide, fitted with Herrmans DD37 grips, which feature a screw-on clamp for a secure grip. The stem is a Humpert Ergotec Octopus 50 a-head model, which, together with the Acros headset, ensures stability and precision in steering.

The rims are Schürmann YAK19 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims, combined with Schwalbe Citizen tyres in size 47-622 with reflective strips for improved visibility. The hubs are a SHIMANO HB-TX505 at the front and a SHIMANO Nexus 8-speed RT at the rear, supported by 2 mm stainless steel spokes, which together form a sturdy 28-inch wheelset.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Milo Plus model, mounted on a suspension-equipped Humpert Ergotec SP-5.0 seatpost, which offers additional comfort. SKS plastic mudguards protect against splashes and dirt. The black aluminium Pletscher Comp Flex kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.

The Vitality Eco 8 is powered by a Bosch Active Plus mid-drive motor with 250 watts of power and a fully integrated Bosch frame battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Intuvia display offers intuitive operation and displays all key information at a glance. Priced at 3,149 euros, the Kreidler Vitality Eco 8 offers an attractive all-round package for cyclists who value quality and comfort.
