Kreidler Vitality Eco 7

The 2020 ‘Vitality Eco 7’ model from Kreidler is a well-designed e-bike, priced at 2,939 euros and positioned in the mid-range price bracket. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and offers a fully integrated solution for the Bosch motor and battery, contributing to a clean and modern design. The bike’s total weight is 25 kg, which is appropriate for an e-bike in this specification class.

When it comes to brakes, Kreidler has opted for the Tektro HD-M275 model with 180 mm discs, which, in combination with the matching brake levers, ensures reliable deceleration. The gear system is provided by Shimano components: A Deore rear derailleur and Alivio shift levers ensure precise gear changes. The aluminium Suntour NEX suspension fork, with a 28-inch diameter, offers comfort on a variety of surfaces.

The lighting on the Vitality Eco 7 is thoughtfully designed. At the front, the Herrmans MR Go light, with 30 LUX and a parking light function, ensures good visibility, whilst at the rear, the Herrmans H-Trace rear light is also equipped with a parking light function. The pedals are made of aluminium and feature a rubber tread for a secure grip.

The bike’s drive system is based on the Bosch Performance mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts, powered by a fully integrated Bosch frame battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Purion display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the electric assistance.

Further features include a Lasco aluminium crankset, a Shimano Alivio HG400 cassette and a KMC E9 Sport EPT drivetrain. The Promax HB-3188 handlebars and the angle-adjustable aluminium stem allow for an ergonomic riding position. The Selle Royal Milo Plus saddle and the Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost provide additional comfort.

The Vitality Eco 7 is fitted with Schürmann YAK19 hollow-wall rims and Schwalbe Citizen tyres, which contribute to road safety thanks to their reflective strips. The Parallax hubs with 36 spokes offer stability and reliability. SKS plastic mudguards and a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand round off the features, making the bike a practical everyday companion.
