The 2021 ‘Vitality Eco 6 Rücktritt 5G’ model from Kreidler is a versatile e-bike which, at a price of 2,779 EUR, offers robust and well-designed features. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is semi-integrated for the Bosch drive unit, giving the bike a modern and stable structure. Weighing 25 kg, it is well-balanced for an e-bike in this class.

The bike’s braking system consists of Magura HS11 brakes, operated by 3-finger brake levers, which ensure reliable stopping power. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 5-speed with a coaster brake, operated via a twist grip, ensuring ease of use. The Suntour CR85-E25 fork, with 65 mm of travel, contributes to a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing bumps in the road.

Lighting is provided by a Herrmans MR Go front light with 30 LUX and a parking light function, whilst the Herrmans H-Trace rear light is also fitted with a parking light, which enhances safety when cycling at dusk or at night. The SKS plastic mudguards protect against splashes, whilst the Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand ensures the bike stands securely. The Racktime luggage rack is strut-free and fitted with a spring-loaded flap, offering practical transport options.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Active Plus mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts. The semi-integrated Bosch frame battery has a capacity of 500 Wh at 36 volts and 13.4 Ah, ensuring sufficient range for extended rides. The Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the drive and displaying key information whilst riding.
