Kreidler Vitality Eco 6 Comfort

The "Vitality Eco 6 Comfort" model from Kreidler, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 3,199 EUR, falls into the mid-range price bracket. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is specially designed to accommodate the Bosch motor in a semi-integrated configuration. The bike’s total weight is 25 kg, making it a reliable companion for comfortable urban riding.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano – specifically the Altus model with a 3-finger design, which ensures reliable braking power. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 5-speed coaster hub, operated via a twist grip on the handlebars. This combination offers simple and low-maintenance gear changing.

Riding comfort is ensured by the Suntour NEX-HLO fork, with 65 mm of travel and a lockout function, mounted on 28-inch aluminium wheels. Lighting is provided by a Herrmans MR Go front light with 30 LUX and a parking light, as well as a Trelock LS 654 rear light with a brake light function. Both lights feature a parking light function for added safety.

Power is provided by the third-generation Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts. The semi-integrated Bosch frame battery has a capacity of 500 Wh, providing sufficient range for longer rides. The Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike.

Further features include the Miranda aluminium crankset with a 38-tooth KMC chainring and a 30-tooth Shimano CS-C7000 sprocket. The Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser aluminium handlebars are 635 mm wide and fitted with Herrmans DD37 grips, which feature a screw-on clamp for a secure grip. The Satori Python stem is angle-adjustable and has integrated cable routing for a tidy appearance.

The bike is fitted with Schürmann YAK19 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims and Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres, which feature reflective strips for improved visibility. The hubs are by Shimano; the front hub is the Alivio HB-M4050 model and the rear hub is the Nexus 5-speed SG-C7002-5CD model with a coaster brake. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza model, mounted on a Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost.

In addition, the bike features SKS plastic mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand and a luggage rack that forms part of the frame and is fitted with a Racktime attachment and a spring-loaded flap. These features make the Vitality Eco 6 Comfort a practical and comfortable e-bike for everyday use.
