Kreidler Vitality Eco 3 Sport

The "Vitality Eco 3 Sport" model from Kreidler, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at 2,799 EUR, it offers a solid combination of performance and comfort. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is semi-integrated for the Bosch drive unit, giving the bike an elegant and modern look. The total weight is 24 kg, which is appropriate for an e-bike in this category.

The brakes are Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes, with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Shimano, specifically from the Altus series with a 3-finger design, which allows for comfortable handling. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 with 10 speeds, operated via the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter, which ensures precise gear changes.

The Suntour NEX-HLO fork, featuring a lockout function and 65 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces. For road safety, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans MR Go front light with 30 LUX and a parking light, as well as a Trelock LS 654 rear light with a brake light function and a parking light. The pedals are Marwi SP-811, which provide a secure grip.

The crankset is made of Miranda aluminium with a 38-tooth chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-HG50, which is also a 10-speed unit offering a range of 11–36 teeth. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC E10 EPT chain. The handlebars are aluminium Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser bars, 635 mm wide, fitted with ergonomic Herrmans DD37 grips with screw-on clamps.

The Satori Python stem is angle-adjustable and features cable routing, which contributes to the bike’s clean look. The headset is an Acros AZX-585, which is also equipped with cable routing and a steering stop. The Schürmann YAK19 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims with 36 holes are robust and durable, combined with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres in size 47-622 with reflective strips for improved visibility.

The hubs are by Shimano, both front and rear featuring the Centerlock system and 36 holes each. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza, mounted on a Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost. Plastic mudguards from SKS and a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand complete the specification. The luggage rack is an integral part of the frame and features a Racktime attachment with a spring-loaded flap.

Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts. The semi-integrated Bosch frame battery has a capacity of 500 Wh (36 volts, 13.4 Ah) and is controlled via the Purion display. Overall, the Vitality Eco 3 Sport offers a balanced combination of functionality and comfort for everyday use or longer rides.
