Kreidler Vitality Eco 3

The "Vitality Eco 3" from Kreidler, launched in 2020, is an e-bike positioned in the mid-range segment with a price tag of 2,519 euros. It features a sturdy aluminium frame (6061) that was specially developed to integrate the Bosch interface. The bike’s total weight is 25 kg, making it a robust yet manoeuvrable companion for both urban and rural use.

The braking system consists of Magura HS11 rim brakes, which are renowned for their reliability and ease of maintenance. These are complemented by Magura HS11 3-finger brake levers, which allow for precise control. The gears are operated by the Shimano Nexus gear lever, which, in combination with the Shimano Nexus 7-speed coaster hub, offers a comfortable and low-maintenance drivetrain. The aluminium Suntour CR85-E25 suspension fork ensures comfortable damping on uneven roads.

For lighting, the Vitality Eco 3 is fitted with the Herrmans MR Go front light, which offers a luminous intensity of 30 LUX and features a parking light. The Herrmans H-Trace rear light is also equipped with a parking light function to ensure you remain clearly visible even when stationary. The aluminium pedals are suitable for both city cycling and trekking tours.

Power is provided by a Bosch Active Plus mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts, which, in combination with a semi-integrated Bosch frame battery with a capacity of 400 Wh, offers reliable assistance. Power is supplied by a 36-volt, 11.0 Ah lithium-ion battery. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the electric assistance.

The handlebars are Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser bars, 635 mm wide, which, together with the Herrmans DD37 grips, provide a comfortable grip. The angle-adjustable aluminium stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The wheelset consists of Schürmann YAK19 aluminium hollow-section rims and Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres in size 47-622, which ensure good grip and puncture resistance.

Further details, such as the Selle Royal Rio saddle and the suspension-equipped Humpert Ergotec SP 5.0 seatpost, contribute to riding comfort. SKS plastic mudguards offer protection against dirt and wet conditions, whilst the Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand ensures the bike stands securely. Overall, the Kreidler Vitality Eco 3 offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability for everyday use.
