Kreidler Vitality Eco 2 Comfort

The Vitality Eco 2 Comfort from Kreidler, launched in 2022, is an e-bike that stands out for its balanced combination of comfort, technology and functionality. This model is priced at 2,399 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features a semi-integrated Bosch motor, giving the bike a modern and elegant look. Weighing 25 kg, it is robust and stable without compromising on manoeuvrability.

The bike’s braking system comprises Magura HS11 brakes and matching 3-finger brake levers, which ensure reliable and effective braking performance. The Shimano Nexus 7-speed freewheel gear system allows for easy and precise gear selection via a twist grip, which is particularly advantageous in urban traffic. The Suntour CR8V fork, with 65 mm of travel, helps absorb bumps and enhances riding comfort on various surfaces.

Lighting is provided at the front by the Herrmans MR Go front light with 30 LUX and a parking light function, whilst at the rear the Trelock LS 654 rear light with brake light and parking light functions ensures safety. The crankset is made of Miranda aluminium with a 38-tooth chainring, whilst the rear sprocket is a Shimano unit with 19 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC S1 chain.

The handlebars are 600 mm wide trekking handlebars, complemented by Herrmans DD37 grips with screw clamps, which ensure a secure grip. The Satori Python stem is angle-adjustable and features cable routing, allowing for individual adjustment of the riding position. The Schürmann YAK19 aluminium hollow-section rims with 36 holes and Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres offer stability and good rolling performance.

The Selle Royal Essenza saddle, combined with the Humpert Ergotec SP 5.0 suspension seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride. Practical features such as SKS plastic mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand and a frame-integrated luggage rack with a Racktime attachment round off the specification.

The third-generation Bosch Active Line mid-drive motor delivers 250 watts and is powered by a semi-integrated Bosch frame battery with a capacity of 400 Wh. The Purion display offers simple and intuitive control of the bike’s electronic components.
