Kreidler Vitality Eco 10 Cross

The 2022 Kreidler Vitality Eco 10 Cross is a versatile e-bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 3,999 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance and features. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and fully integrates the fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor, resulting in an elegant and functional design. Weighing 27 kg, the bike remains relatively light despite its robust construction.

The Vitality Eco 10 Cross’s braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. These are complemented by Shimano Altus 3-finger brake levers, which allow for precise control. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore XT RD-M8100 with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shifter. This combination ensures smooth and efficient gear-changing performance.

The Suntour XCM34 fork offers 100 mm of travel and features a lockout function that can be activated when required. The lighting comprises a Busch & Müller Lumotec IQ-XS Highbeam front light with high-beam function and a Trelock LS 654 rear light with brake light function; both are fitted with parking lights, which enhance safety when cycling in the dark.

Other notable features include the Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB tyres, which provide excellent traction, and the Selle Royal Essenza saddle, which offers comfort even on longer rides. The handlebars are Promax HB-3188 with a width of 640 mm, whilst the grips are Ergon GP1 and feature a screw-on clamp.

Power is supplied by a fully integrated Bosch frame battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which, in combination with the Intuvia display, enables user-friendly control and monitoring of the e-bike system. Power is transmitted via a KMC E12 EPT chain, which works in conjunction with a Miranda aluminium crankset and a Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette.

The Kreidler Vitality Eco 10 Cross is fitted with a Racktime Stand-it luggage rack, which has no struts and features a spring-loaded flap. A Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand provides additional stability when parking the bike. Overall, this model offers a well-thought-out specification that is suitable for both everyday use and longer tours.
