Kreidler Vitality Eco 1 Rücktritt

The 2021 ‘Vitality Eco 1 Rücktritt’ model from Kreidler is a versatile e-bike designed for urban use. Priced at €2,099, it offers a solid specification that prioritises both comfort and functionality. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is semi-integrated for the Bosch motor, resulting in a total weight of 25 kg.

The bike is fitted with Magura HS11 brakes and matching 3-finger brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear system with coaster brake enables simple and effective gear changes, whilst the twist-grip shifter facilitates intuitive operation. The Suntour CR7V fork, with 65 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on a wide variety of surfaces.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans MR Go front light, which offers 30 LUX brightness and features a parking light function. This is complemented by the Herrmans H-Trace rear light, which also features a parking light function. The Marwi SP-813 pedals and the Miranda aluminium crankset, measuring 170 mm in length, round off the specification.

Power is transmitted via a KMC S1 chain, whilst the handlebars are made of steel, 600 mm wide, and fitted with Herrmans Ergo 84B grips. The stem is made of aluminium and is angle-adjustable, allowing for individual adjustment of the riding position. The Chin Haur headset is semi-integrated and offers stability and durability.

The Schürmann YAK19 aluminium hollow-wall rims are fitted with Kenda City tyres in size 47-622, which feature reflective strips for added safety on the road. The front hub is made of Parallax aluminium, whilst the rear hub houses the Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear system. Niro spokes with a diameter of 2.0 mm complete the wheel construction.

The Selle Royal Rio saddle and the Humpert Ergotec SP 5.0 seatpost offer comfort and are suspension-equipped to further enhance riding comfort. SKS plastic mudguards protect against dirt and wet conditions. A Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand ensures stability when parking the bike. The steel-tube luggage rack has no struts and features a practical spring-loaded flap.

The Vitality Eco 1 back-pedal assist is powered by a Bosch Active mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts, which works in combination with a Bosch frame battery. The battery is semi-integrated, has a capacity of 400 Wh (36 volts, 11.0 Ah) and is controlled via the Purion display, which makes it easy to use. This e-bike offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and practicality for everyday use in the city.
