Kettler SCINTO 1.0 TOUR

The "SCINTO 1.0 TOUR" model from the Kettler brand from 2023 is a high-quality touring bike that is available for EUR 2199. The frame is made of robust aluminium, which ensures a lightweight yet stable construction. The bike is equipped with a variety of components from Shimano, which stands for reliability and durability.

The brake system includes SHIMANO BR-RX400 brakes at the front and rear, with the rear brake being a 2-piston version. The brake levers on the front wheel are also from SHIMANO (ST-RX400), and SHIMANO SM-RT30 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm are used at both the front and rear.

The SHIMANO RD-RX400 system, which offers a wide gear ratio with 20 gears, takes care of the shifting. The shifters are also SHIMANO ST-RX400, and the front derailleur is the SHIMANO FD-RX400. The bottom bracket is a SHIMANO BB-RS500-PB, and the crankset comes from SHIMANO (FC-RX600-10). The sprocket is the SHIMANO CS-HG50-10 with a gradation of 11-36T, and the drive is provided by the SHIMANO CN-HG54 chain.

The fork of the SCINTO 1.0 TOUR is made of rigid aluminium, which increases steering precision. Lighting is provided by the COMUS FS-70 light with 70 lux at the front and the COMUS RZ-60 light at the rear, both powered by a dynamo hub drive.

The cockpit of the bike consists of a KALLOY HB-L001 handlebar and Velo VLT-001 grips. The stem is the KALLOY AS-ZGD5, and the headset is an FSA NO. 55R with a diameter of 1.5 inches. The tyres are SCHWALBE G-One (40-622), which are known for their good grip and durability. The spokes are black 2.0 spokes, and both the front and rear rims are from Kettler.

The front hub is a Shutter PL-8QR CL and the rear a Formula CL-142S. The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL 231HRN, mounted on a KALLOY SP-368 seatpost with a 31.8 mm seat clamp. The bike is also equipped with Sunny Wheel W45 mudguards and a Standwell pannier rack, making it ideal for longer tours and everyday use.
