IXGO KX TWO

The IXGO KX TWO, launched in 2024, is a bicycle model that stands out for its well-thought-out features and attractive value for money. Priced at 489 EUR, it offers a solid foundation for beginners and occasional cyclists. The KX TWO’s frame features a deep diamond design, which not only looks great but also promises stability and comfort. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 60 kg, whilst it weighs 13 kg itself, making it a relatively lightweight model in its class.

In terms of the braking system, the KX TWO is fitted with aluminium Promax TX123D V-brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by Promax BL-81G brake levers. This combination ensures reliable braking performance in a wide range of conditions. The gear system consists of a Shimano ASLRV400 shifter, which enables 7-speed gearing. The bike’s fork is an HL 565D with 50 mm of travel, which provides comfortable suspension when riding on uneven terrain.

The bike’s drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z7 chain, whilst the Shimano AFCTY301 crankset features gear ratios of 42X34X24 and a length of 150 mm. The cassette is a Shimano AMFTZ508 with 14–28 teeth, also in a 7-speed configuration. The model’s pedals are Matrix FP-826.

The handlebars are Matrix MTB-AL-152 with a diameter of 25.4 mm and a width of 540 mm, which ensures comfortable handling. The grips are the Herrmans eighty-nine model, which provide additional comfort. The stem is a Matrix HL TDS-C340-8 A-Head with a diameter of 28.6 mm and a length of 60 mm, whilst the headset is semi-integrated and also from Matrix.

The rims are Mach1 ER-10 with 28 holes at both the front and rear, and the tyres are Matrix V45 Winner with reflective strips for better visibility in low-light conditions. The hubs are also by Matrix, with the KT-A15F model at the front and the KT-A12R at the rear, both also featuring 28 holes. The spokes are black and are made by Sapim.

The spec is rounded off by a Matrix 2004V saddle and a Matrix SP-C208 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm. Overall, the IXGO KX TWO offers a well-balanced combination of components that ensure a comfortable riding experience.
