IXGO KX THREE

The 2024 IXGO KX THREE model is a well-designed bicycle which, at a price of 589 EUR, represents an attractive option for the quality-conscious cyclist. The bike’s frame features a deep diamond design and provides a solid foundation with a maximum load capacity of 60 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 13 kg.

The KX THREE’s braking system is fitted with high-quality components from Shimano. Shimano BR-MT 200 brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, complemented by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs are also from Shimano, model SM-RT10, and feature a Centre Lock system with a diameter of 160 mm.

Gear shifting is handled by the Shimano ASLM3158RC shifter, which enables 8-speed shifting. The Shimano AFCTY301 crankset offers a gear ratio of 42×34×24 over a length of 150 mm. The cassette is also by Shimano and offers a range of 12–32 teeth for the 8-speed system. The drivetrain is powered by the KMC Z8 chain.

The bike’s fork is the HL 565D model with 50 mm of travel, which ensures comfortable suspension on uneven road surfaces. The pedals are Matrix FP-826, whilst the handlebars are Matrix MTB-AL-152, which, at 540 mm wide, offer sufficient control and comfort. The grips are by Herrmans and are known as ‘eighty-nine’.

The stem is a Matrix HL TDS-C340-8 in an A-Head design, measuring 60 mm in length and 28.6 mm in diameter. The headset is semi-integrated and also from Matrix, model H115. The rims are the Mach1 ER-10 model with 28 holes at the front and rear. The tyres are Matrix V45 Winner with reflective strips for improved visibility.

The front hub is a Matrix KT-A15F with 28 holes and the rear hub is a Shimano AFHTX505 with 32 holes. The spokes are black and are made by Sapim. Riding comfort is ensured by the Matrix 2004V saddle, mounted on a Matrix SP-C208 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm.
