IXGO GX-E FOUR

The 2024 IXGO GX-E FOUR is a versatile e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. Priced at 3,999 EUR, it offers an attractive package for discerning cyclists. The bike’s frame is specifically designed for men and supports a maximum rider weight of up to 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 18 kg.

When it comes to brakes, the GX-E FOUR features reliable SRAM APEX D1 FLATMOUNT brakes at both the front and rear, combined with 160 mm SRAM DB ROTOR brake discs. The gear system consists of a SRAM Apex D1 12-speed shifter, which, together with the SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain, ensures precise and fast gear changes. In total, the rider has 12 gears at their disposal, complemented by the SRAM XPLR CS-PG-1231 cassette with 11–44 teeth.

The bike’s fork is a Suntour GVX with 50 mm of travel, which ensures comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Litemove RX-E50 front light (50 lux) and a Matrix battery-powered rear light, ensuring good visibility at night.

The handlebars are Matrix Gravel handlebars, 420 mm wide with a 16-degree outward bend, which, in combination with the Matrix Ahead stem (80 mm long, -7-degree angle), provide a comfortable riding position. The headset is an Acros AIX-525 R2 ICR, tapered, and, together with the DT Factory spokes and the Mach1 Cross-R27 rims, offers a sturdy construction.

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance tyres with RaceGuard technology, fitted to both the front and rear. The hubs are Shimano HB-RS470 and FH-RS470 models respectively, featuring Centre Lock and 12 mm thru-axles, which ensure reliable performance.

Riding comfort is ensured by the Selle Italia X3 saddle in combination with the Kind Shock Dropzone seatpost, which offers 75 mm of adjustment. The drivetrain is powered by a Bosch Performance SX mid-drive motor with 250 W and 55 Nm, which draws its power from a Compact PowerTube battery with a capacity of 400 Wh. Control is via the Bosch System Controller BRC3100 and the Dropbar Remote.

In terms of geometry, the bike has a reach of 410 mm, a stack of 558 mm, a seat tube length of 530 mm and a top tube length of 566 mm. The head tube angle is 71 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees. The chainstay length measures 455 mm, whilst the wheelbase is 1072 mm. These dimensions, together with the 76 mm bottom bracket drop and 46 mm fork offset, ensure balanced handling. The IXGO GX-E FOUR is therefore a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
