Husqvarna E-Bicycles Light Cross 3

The "Light Cross 3" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a versatile e-mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and modern features. The frame is made from 27.5-inch aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and is designed as a hardtail MTB. It features a Skeleton Interface and a semi-integrated battery mount, giving the bike a modern and clean-cut appearance. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 21 kg, the bike offers stability and safety off-road.

The braking system is fitted with SHIMANO BR-MT201/200 hydraulic disc brakes with 2 pistons, which, in combination with the SHIMANO SM-RT56 front and rear brake discs (180 mm, 6-bolt each), ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM NX-11 system with 11 speeds, whilst the shifter is an SRAM NX Trigger with X-Actuation. This enables the precise gear changes required for challenging trails.

The SR SUNTOUR XCR34 air suspension fork with Boost technology offers 120 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The crankset is made from forged aluminium by Husqvarna and measures 170 mm. The SRAM NX PG-1130 cassette offers a gear ratio of 11–42T, whilst power is transmitted via a SRAM PC1110 chain.

The handlebars are a HUSQVARNA Low Rise model with a width of 720 mm and a rise of 22 mm. The grips are the HUSQVARNA Ride D2 Compound Lock-on, which ensure a secure grip. The stem is also made of aluminium and has a length of 50 mm. The steering system is supported by the ACROS ZS44/56 Husqvarna Custom Spec headset.

The HQV Edition RYDE DISC35 rims are fitted with SCHWALBE SMART SAM tyres in size 27.5x2.6, which ensure good traction. The front hub is a HUSQVARNA Pro Boost and the rear a HUSQVARNA Comp Boost QR, both of which are renowned for their reliability.

The saddle is the HUSQVARNA MTB RDE model, mounted on an aluminium seatpost, the length of which varies depending on frame size (S/M: 350mm, L/XL: 450mm). The saddle is secured using a quick-release clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The e-bike is powered by the SHIMANO STePS DU-E7000 motor, which delivers a torque of 60 Nm. Power is supplied by a semi-internal SHIMANO BT-E8010 battery with a capacity of 504 Wh (36V / 14Ah). The SHIMANO SC-E7000 LED display, featuring ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality, provides all the necessary information to assist the rider.
