Husqvarna E-Bicycles Gran Gravel 5 Urban

The 2021 “Gran Gravel 5 Urban” model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a versatile e-bike designed specifically for urban use. Priced at EUR 4,299, it sits in the upper mid-range and offers a solid spec that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides. The frame is made from a lightweight and robust 6061 alloy construction, developed specifically for gravel terrain, and features an integrated battery and a Skeleton Interface for improved stability and performance. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, ensuring a high load-bearing capacity.

The braking system utilises Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with a BRX400 model at the front and a BRX810 model at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The front brake disc is a Shimano SM-RT66 with a diameter of 160 mm. The groupset is a Shimano GRX 810 with Shadow Plus technology, which operates as an 11-speed system and is controlled via Shimano SL-RS700 Rapidfire Plus shifters. This enables precise and rapid gear changes, complemented by a Shimano SLX cassette with a 11-42T range.

The fork is a rigid carbon construction from Husqvarna, ensuring low weight and high stiffness. The e-bike is powered by a Shimano STePS DU-E7000 motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 60Nm. The battery has a capacity of 504 Wh and is controlled via a Shimano SC-E7000 LED display, which offers both ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.
