HoheAcht Pasio Urbo Vulkanschiefer

The “Pasio Urbo Vulkanschiefer” model from HoheAcht, launched in 2021, is a modern e-bike with well-thought-out features designed for both urban and leisure use. The price of 3,899 EUR reflects the high-quality build and the components used. The frame is made of aluminium and features a classic diamond shape, giving the bike a sturdy yet elegant structure.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 brakes at the front and rear, each with two pistons, which guarantee reliable stopping power in a variety of riding conditions. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed gear system, complemented by the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever, which enables simple and precise gear selection.

The bike’s lighting comprises a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 180 lumens, operating at a voltage of 6–12 V, and a Herrmans H-Cargo E-Bike rear light with an integrated reflector, which ensures good visibility in road traffic. The Marwi SP-880 pedals feature a non-slip surface to ensure a secure grip.

Power is transmitted via a Gates CDX system with a 28-tooth sprocket and a 120-tooth drive wheel, delivering high performance and efficiency. The crankset is a Shimano Steps FC-EM600 with a length of 170 mm. The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, measure 31.8 mm in diameter and are 700 mm wide, whilst the stem is also made from H8 aluminium and is adjustable by 60° to allow for individual customisation.

Further features include an Acros headset with industrial-grade bearings, Mach1 Trucky 30 rims in 27.5” size, and Continental Contact Cruiser tyres with reflective strips for added safety. The front hub is a Formula Disc with Centre Lock, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed hub.

The Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle, together with the H8 aluminium seatpost, ensures comfort on longer rides. SKS A 69 R mudguards provide protection against splashing water. The Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, which, combined with a powerful 630 Wh battery, delivers an impressive range and assistance. Overall, the “Pasio Urbo Vulkanschiefer” offers a well-thought-out combination of performance, comfort and functionality.
