HoheAcht Pasia Urbo Vulkanschiefer

The “Pasia Urbo Vulkanschiefer” model from HoheAcht, released in 2021, is a well-designed e-bike that, at a price of 3,899 EUR, is positioned in the mid-range price segment. The frame is a trapezoidal aluminium frame, which ensures stability and durability. The braking system is fitted with Shimano BR-MT200 dual-piston brakes at both the front and rear, guaranteeing reliable braking performance. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear system, operated by the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 shifter, which offers ease of use.

Optimal visibility is ensured by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 180 lumens and the Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, which is also fitted with a reflector. The Marwi SP-880 pedals are non-slip to ensure a secure grip. The e-bike’s drivetrain is powered by the high-performance Shimano Steps EP8 crankset, which is 170 mm long, whilst the sprocket and drivetrain are both from the Gates CDX series, ensuring high performance and reliability.

The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, with a width of 700 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm, complemented by Herrman’s Line DD36 grips for a comfortable grip. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium and is adjustable by 60°, allowing for individual customisation. The Acros headset features industrial-grade bearings, which contribute to the durability of the steering mechanism.

The 27.5” Mach1 Trucky 30 rims are fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser tyres, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is a Formula Disc and the rear a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000, optimising the bike’s overall functionality. The Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle offers comfort on longer rides, supported by an H8 aluminium seatpost.

The bike is fitted with black SKS A 69 R mudguards, which protect against dirt and splashes. The Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg. The e-bike is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, fuelled by a 630 Wh battery, which is suitable for extended rides.
