HoheAcht Mola Vojo Morgentau

The “Mola Vojo Morgentau” model from HoheAcht, released in 2021, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 4299 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. It features a robust aluminium SUV full-suspension frame, which ensures a comfortable ride across a wide variety of terrain. The braking system consists of a combination of Shimano BR-M7120 4-piston brakes at the front and Shimano BR-M7100 2-piston brakes at the rear, which deliver reliable braking performance.

The Shimano Deore XT 12-speed system has been chosen for the gears, controlled by the Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 shift lever. The drive is assisted by the powerful Shimano EP8 motor with 85 Nm, which, in combination with a 500 Wh battery, ensures an impressive range. The crankset consists of a Shimano Steps EP8 with a length of 170 mm and 36 teeth, whilst the cassette comprises a Shimano Deore XT CS-M8100 with a range of 10–51 teeth.

The bike’s lighting system is battery-powered and includes both a front and rear light. The pedals are Marwi SP-160s. The H8 aluminium handlebars are 720 mm wide and have a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the Ergon GE10 Evo grips provide additional comfort. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium and is 60 mm long with an angle of ± 7°. The Acros headset features industrial-grade bearings and ensures precise steering.

The model is fitted with Mach1 Trucky 30 rims in size 27.5”, which are fitted with Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance tyres in size 65-584 and feature reflective strips. The hubs are Formula Disc, measuring 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear, both with Centre Lock and 32 holes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus, mounted on a King Shock LEV-SI seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 125 mm, which functions as a suspension dropper post. An Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand, 40 mm wide, completes the Mola Vojo Morgentau’s specification and ensures stability when the bike is parked. This model combines high-quality components and a well-thought-out design for an outstanding riding experience.
