HoheAcht MOLA ROKO

The "MOLA ROKO" model from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike characterised by high-quality features and a well-thought-out design. Priced at 4599 EUR, it offers a combination of performance and comfort that is suitable for both everyday use and challenging tours.

The MOLA ROKO has a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg. The braking system consists of Hayes Dominion A4 four-piston disc brakes, which are hydraulically operated at both the front and rear. The brake discs measure 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance.

Gear changes are handled by an SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed derailleur system, operated via a trigger shifter. The SR Suntour XCR34-Boost-AIR suspension fork offers 120 mm of travel, whilst the SR Suntour Raidon LO Metric rear shock has 45 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain.

The lighting system consists of an M-WAVE Atlas K 50 battery-powered light set with high-performance LEDs, delivering 42 lumens at the front and 6 lumens at the rear. The pedals are made of aluminium and are from Marwi. The crankset is a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 with 36 teeth and is complemented by a set of Shimano Steps FC-EM600 crank arms.

The MOLA ROKO is fitted with an SRAM Eagle 12-speed cassette, offering a range of 11–50 teeth. The handlebars and stem are made of aluminium by Kalloy – HoheAcht, with the handlebars measuring 720 mm in width and the stem available in lengths of either 40 mm or 60 mm. The grips are by Herrmans and, at 130 mm in length, provide a secure grip.

The wheels consist of Sunringlé Düroc SD37 Expert 27.5'' rims and are fitted with Continental Mountain King Wire tyres, which measure 27.5'' x 2.3''. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus, mounted on a Kalloy - HoheAcht seatpost.

The MOLA ROKO is powered by a Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor with a torque of 85 Nm and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using the Shimano Steps EC-E6002 charger. The Shimano Steps SC-E7000 display offers Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity.

The frame geometry comprises a seat tube length of 420 mm, a top tube length of 600 mm, a head tube angle of 67 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 150 mm, a chainstay length of 460 mm, a wheelbase of 1177 mm and a bottom bracket height of 330 mm. These dimensions ensure a balanced riding position and agile handling. Overall, the MOLA ROKO is a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both urban and off-road use.
