HoheAcht AMOLA TERRA

The AMOLA TERRA from HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 4,999 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made of robust aluminium, which ensures both stability and a moderate weight. Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with the VR BR-MT420 four-piston caliper at the front and the HR BR-MT410 at the rear. The brake levers, also from Shimano, are made of light alloy and designed as two-finger models. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and use the Centre Lock system for secure mounting.

The AMOLA TERRA’s gear system is based on the Shimano Deore 12-speed derailleur groupset, featuring the RD-M6100 rear derailleur and the SL-M6100-R shifter, which includes a gear indicator. Power is transmitted via a YBN S12e S2 chain. A comfortable riding experience is ensured by the SR Suntour XCR34 Boost-AIR suspension fork with 120 mm of travel and the SR Suntour Raidon Air LO Metric rear shock with 45 mm of travel.

The bike’s lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light and the Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, both of which are specifically designed for e-bikes. The pedals are made of aluminium with PP and are manufactured by Marwi. The crankset comprises a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 chainring with 36 teeth and an FC-EM600 crank arm set with a length of 170 mm.

The handlebars on the AMOLA TERRA are a Kalloy – HoheAcht model, 660 mm wide with a 37° bend, complemented by Herrmans grips. The stem is also from Kalloy – HoheAcht and offers an adjustable angle of between 0 and 60°. The rims are made of aluminium and are from Mach1, whilst the tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto-X in the size 27.5'' x 2.4''.

Power is provided by the Shimano Steps DU-EP600 mid-drive motor, which offers assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is controlled via the Shimano Steps SC-EN600 display, which offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity. The charger is the Shimano Steps EC-E8004 model.

Additional features include powder-coated aluminium mudguards from ChingChern, a kickstand from Ursus, a lock from ABUS and a luggage rack from AtranVelo with a maximum load capacity of 27 kg. The saddle is the Nuvola 5060 DRC model from Selle Royal, fitted to a Kalloy – HoheAcht seatpost. Overall, the AMOLA TERRA offers a balanced blend of comfort, performance and practicality for everyday use or longer tours.
