Hercules Rob Fold R5

The 2023 Hercules Rob Fold R5 is a high-quality e-bike that impresses with its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The aluminium frame of the eFold Series, made from AL 6061, offers a stable yet lightweight construction with a total weight of 22 kg. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, providing ample space for both rider and luggage.

The bike is fitted with a powerful third-generation Performance Cruise Smart System motor, delivering 250 watts and a torque of 75 Nm. The Bosch PowerPack battery, with a capacity of 545 Wh, ensures an impressive range and is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia 100 display. The included Bosch 2 A charger enables efficient recharging of the battery.

Safety is ensured by Tektro T-390 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted at both the front and rear with 160 mm discs. In addition, a coaster brake is integrated, which, in combination with the Shimano Nexus 5-speed gearbox and the Shimano Revoshifter, ensures a comfortable and reliable ride.

The Rob Fold R5 features a rigid aluminium fork and Schwalbe Big Apple tyres with RaceGuard technology, which provide a comfortable ride and excellent traction. The Trekking AL handlebars, with a 37° backsweep and a 28 mm rise, offer an ergonomic and comfortable riding position. The adjustable Zecure AllUp + Up2+ stem allows the handlebar height to be individually adjusted by up to 150 mm.

For added comfort, the bike is fitted with a Selle Royal LookIn Relaxed saddle, mounted on a Kalloy SP-DC1 seatpost. The integrated clamping mechanism on the Ergo grips ensures a secure grip. Plastic mudguards from SKS, a Herrmans Slyde chain guard and a sturdy Massload two-leg kickstand complete the specification.

The lighting system consists of a Hercules FS-50 LED front light with up to 50 lux and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The Monkey Load system luggage rack with spring-loaded flap offers practical transport options, whilst the ABUS battery lock with XPlus cylinder ensures security.
