Hercules Rob Fold 10

The 2022 Hercules Rob Fold 10 is a versatile and functional e-bike that stands out for its high-quality features and well-thought-out design. Priced at 3,399 euros, it offers a solid combination of performance and comfort. The frame is made from Aluminium Fold Urban, AL 6061, which not only gives the bike stability but also makes it lightweight, as it weighs just 22 kg in total. It is designed for a maximum load of 135 kg, making it a robust option for everyday use.

The Rob Fold 10 is fitted with Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The front brake disc is a Shimano SM-RT10 with a diameter of 180 mm. The gear system comprises Shimano Deore M5120 components and is controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shift lever, enabling precise gear changes.

Lighting is provided by a HERCULES FH 40 LED front light with up to 40 lux and a Busch & Müller 2C LED rear rack light. The crankset is an FSA CK-220, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore with an 11–42T range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X10E chain.

The handlebars are Trekking AL with a 31.8 mm diameter, 37° backsweep and a 28 mm rise, ensuring a comfortable riding position. The grips are ergonomically shaped and feature an integrated clamping mechanism. The stem is adjustable and offers an ‘All Up’ height adjustment of 150 mm, together with an integrated headset.

The rims are DDM-1 models and the tyres are Schwalbe Big Apple, sized 55-406 and featuring RaceGuard protection. The hubs are Shimano RM35 models with quick-release mechanisms and CentreLock systems. The spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola, mounted on a Kalloy SP-DC1 seatpost. This is made of aluminium, is 400 mm long and has a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle clamp is black and features a quick-release mechanism.

Additional features include SKS B60 plastic mudguards, a Herrmans Slyde chain guard, a Massload CL-KA88 double-leg kickstand and an ABUS battery lock with a Plus cylinder. The luggage rack is an i-Rack system rack with a spring-loaded flap.

The e-bike is powered by a Performance Cruise GEN3 motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm. The Bosch standard battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 2A charger. The display is a Bosch Intuvia model, which clearly shows all the key information. With a reach of 428 mm and a stack of 513 mm, the Hercules Rob Fold 10 offers well-balanced geometry for a comfortable ride.
