Hercules Rob Cargo F5

The "Rob Cargo F5" model from Hercules, launched in 2022, is a versatile and robust cargo bike that is ideal for transporting heavy loads. Priced at 3,899 EUR, this bike offers a well-thought-out combination of functionality and performance. The frame is made of reinforced aluminium (AL 6061) and is specifically designed for cargo use, including loading platforms and i-Rack compatibility. With a maximum gross weight of 200 kg and a kerb weight of 29 kg, the Rob Cargo F5 is designed to handle heavy loads.

Safety is ensured by Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with 4 pistons, Shimano MT401 brake levers and a 180 mm front brake disc (SM-RT30). Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Revoshifter, whilst the drivetrain is supported by a Gates CDX sprocket with 32 teeth and a Samox EC38 crankset. The rigid aluminium fork (1.5") contributes to the bike’s stability.

The lighting system comprises a powerful HERCULES FH 100 LED front light with up to 100 lux, as well as a Busch & Müller 2C LED rear light mounted on the luggage rack. The handlebars are Zecure HD with ergonomic grips and an adjustable stem from Satori AllUp + Zecure Up2+. The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle on a Kalloy seatpost provides additional comfort.

The Ryde Andra 40 rims are fitted with Schwalbe Big Ben tyres, which offer additional puncture protection thanks to GreenGuard technology. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano HB-M8000 quick-release mechanism and the rear with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub. Reinforced black Niro spokes contribute to the bike’s durability.

Other practical features include SKS EDGE AL mudguards, a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, a sturdy Ursus Jumbo 80 double-leg kickstand, and an AXA Block XXL lock with a keyed-alike battery lock and lock chain. The i-Rack integrated luggage rack offers additional storage space.

The Rob Cargo F5 is powered by a Performance Cruise GEN3 motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm. The Bosch Standard battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, together with the Bosch Intuvia display, ensures user-friendly control and range indication. A Bosch 2A charger is also included. With a reach of 386 mm and a stack of 617 mm, the bike offers a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. This model is therefore a reliable choice for anyone looking for a robust cargo bike for everyday use.
