Hercules Pippa R7

The "Pippa R7" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a versatile bicycle characterised by its robust construction and well-thought-out features. The frame is made from ATB Series aluminium, AL 7005, which not only gives the bike stability but also a relatively low weight of 16 kg. The maximum rider weight is 115 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of users.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro V-brakes at both the front and rear, supplemented by a coaster brake. The brake levers are Tektro TS325A-EN, which are specifically designed for V-brakes. The aluminium rims are fitted with Kenda K-935 tyres, which feature reflective strips and thus offer additional safety. The front hub is a Shimano DH-C3000-3 hub dynamo, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub with a coaster brake. Both hubs are connected by black steel spokes.

The saddle is a youth ATB model, mounted on a Kalloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 250 mm. The saddle clamp is black and features a quick-release (QR) mechanism. Plastic mudguards and a chain guard provide additional protection against dirt and wet conditions. The Standwell centre-mounted kickstand ensures the bike stands securely when parked.

The specification is rounded off by a steel V-type luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap, which offers additional storage space. Priced at 699 EUR, the Hercules Pippa R7 offers excellent value for money for anyone looking for a reliable and well-equipped bike.
