Hercules Pasero Pro I-12

The "Pasero Pro I-12" model from Hercules, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-trekking bike which, at a price of 4,899 EUR, is positioned in the premium category. The bike’s frame is made from AL 6061 aluminium from the eTrekking Series and provides a robust base for the total weight of 27 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 135 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at the front (SM-RT30) and rear (RT-EM300), operated by Shimano BL-MT402 brake levers. The drivetrain is fitted with a 12-speed Shimano Deore XT RD-M8100, operated by the Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 shifter. Power is transmitted via a Shimano CN-M7100 chain in combination with a Shimano SLX CS-M7100 10-51T cassette.

The SR Suntour NCX-D fork offers 63 mm of travel and features air suspension with a lockout and a 15 mm thru-axle, ensuring a comfortable ride across a variety of terrains. The lighting system consists of a Hercules front light (FF-100) with a daytime running light sensor and a high beam of up to 150 lux, as well as a Comus LED rear light (RZ-100EB).

The ergonomically designed grips with integrated clamping mechanism and the adjustable A-Head stem ensure comfortable handling. The Satori Wien handlebars with a 15° backsweep improve control and comfort whilst riding. The Schwalbe Marathon Almotion tyres with RaceGuard technology are fitted to DB-Z21 rims and, together with the stainless steel spokes, provide durable and reliable tyres.

Power is provided by an S-MAG Pro FIT motor with 250 watts and 90 Nm of torque, powered by a FIT Supercore battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The Fit Display Compact allows for easy control and monitoring of the system. The accompanying FIT 4 A charger ensures efficient battery charging.

Additional features such as the Monkey Load System luggage rack with spring-loaded flap, an ABUS battery lock with XPlus cylinder, SKS mudguards (EDGE AL 56) and a Horn Catena 17 chain guard round off the model. The Trekking Comodoro saddle with Hydro Foam and the Kalloy SP-383 seatpost offer additional comfort. A Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand ensures the bike stands securely when parked.
