Hercules Pasero Comp I-12

The "Pasero Comp I-12" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a high-quality e-trekking bike priced at 4,599 euros. The frame is made from AL 6061 aluminium from the eTrekking Series and has a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, with a kerb weight of 27 kg. The bike is fitted with Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring 180 mm brake discs at both the front and rear, which ensure reliable braking power. The Shimano BL-MT402 brake levers enable precise control.

The Pasero Comp I-12 is fitted with a Shimano Deore RD-M6100 12-speed derailleur, operated via the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shifter. The SR Suntour NCX-D fork offers 63 mm of travel and features air suspension with a lockout function, ensuring a comfortable ride. The bike is fitted with a powerful Hercules front light with a daytime running light sensor and high beam, which reaches up to 150 lux, as well as a Comus RZ-100EB LED rear light.

Power is provided by an S-MAG Pro FIT motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 90 Nm, whilst the battery has a capacity of 750 Wh and is charged using a FIT 4 A charger. The bike is fitted with a Fit Display Compact. Other features include the FSA CK-745 crankset, a Shimano Deore CS-M6100 10-51T cassette and the Shimano CN-M6100 drivetrain.

Comfort is ensured by the Trekking Comodoro saddle with Hydro Foam and the Kalloy seatpost with 45 mm of travel. The handlebars are a Satori Wien model made of aluminium with a 15° backsweep, complemented by Ergo grips with integrated clamps. The adjustable A-Head stem and the integrated tapered headset complete the handlebar assembly.

The tyres are SUPERO Optima Safe 50-622, fitted to Ryde Taurus 2000 rims with black Niro spokes. The hubs are Shimano models HB-MT400 at the front and FH-MT410 at the rear, both with Centre Lock. SKS mudguards, a Horn Catena 17 chain guard, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an ABUS battery lock with an XPlus cylinder provide additional protection and convenience. The Monkey Load system rack with spring-loaded flap allows for practical luggage transport.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 419 mm, a stack of 625 mm, a seat tube length of 500 mm, a top tube length of 624 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. The wheelbase is 1144 mm, which contributes to stable handling. Overall, the Hercules Pasero Comp I-12 offers a well-thought-out combination of technology and comfort for demanding trekking tours.
